The Iowa team should be in Port-au-Prince by now waiting for their flight to the United States. They left this morning after an early breakfast on the dorm porch.Their last full day in Haiti -- yesterday, Saturday 16 March, was kind of a quiet day. Mme Smith Cherfils braided Amanda and Tonya's hair!
But most of the day was spent helping with the BTI soccer festival -- setting tables and serving food and helping the students wash their hands. There is more about the soccer tournament -- sponsored in part by the team -- in the next 2 posts!
