Survivors are starting to arrive back in the area. Carla just witnessed the reunion of our team market lady and her daughter as the daughter got back from Port. People came running down the street with their arms open wide to receive her and rejoice with Madame Edwayen.
Some of the survivors have brought back news of people being fine and that there is not a single university which is still standing. Again, these are stories, and it is not certain how true they are.
There is still no word on Jacmel and my friend, Myrlene in the States wrote me to ask if I had news. They have not heard from her sister who works at the hospital. The hospital collapsed and Louloune was to go on duty at 6 pm. Please pray for Louloune Joseph's family and for Louloune herself and the people she serves in Jacmel.
There was news on the radio that they are working to get the Digicel cell phone network up and running again. In the mean time, the Voila phones at the front gate have allowed many people to get in touch with loved ones. Thanks for your continued prayers.
